Porsche 911 GT3 RS With Martini Stripes Up For Sale At €195,900.

With the last 911 GT3 RS, Porsche may have come close to a race car for the road than ever before. And looking at this example that’s popped up for sale, we’re convinced what it deserves is a proper racing livery.

Listed for sale in Spain, this GT3 RS, as you can see, is decked out in Martini Racing stripes. It’s a livery that’s been worn by everything from Lancia rally cars to Williams F1 racers and even speedboats. But to our eyes at least, it’s arguably best suited to Porsches.

Of course, this being a 991-generation RS, it’s fitted with a 4.0-liter flat-six, naturally aspirated at 500 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to send it scrambling from a standstill to 62 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds and lap the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 20 seconds. Not too shabby for a fancy Beetle.

The factory graphics package is appropriately laid over white bodywork on this example, its interior all black with a white stitching, some yellow accents, and carbon-fiber trim.

It has fewer than 700 miles on it, and carries an asking price of €195,900. That works out to about $243k at current exchange rates – a good hundred grand more than the new GT3, and close to the price of the more potent GT2 RS. (That is, assuming you could actually get your hands on one.)

Relative pricing aside, it’s certainly a different look from other examples of the same that we’ve seen. And though this writer may be borderline obsessed with Martini Racing stripes, we couldn’t think of many cars on which they’d look better suited than this one right here.
