Ferrari 458 And McLaren 650S Get The Brixton Treatment

People often criticize McLarens for lacking the passion and drama of their Italian rivals. However, if we were to choose between this white 650S and white Ferrari 458 Italia, we’d pick the Briton – but that’s just us.

Both these supercars were recently outfitted with Brixton forged wheels which, thanks to their black finishes, contrast the white paint while complementing the various exposed carbon fiber accents.

Take the McLaren, for example. Its front end is dominated by gloss carbon fiber on the front bumper, splitter, and air intake surrounds. Additionally, it features carbon side air vents and much of its rear, including the diffuser, are also made from the lightweight material. The addition of the Brixton M53 wheels, measuring 19×9 inch at the front and 20×11 inch at the rear, help to complete the package thanks to their satin and gloss black spokes.

Similarly, the Ferrari 458 Italia pictured looks a hell of a lot more aggressive with its new rims. Compared to the McLaren’s wheels, the 458’s feature a much more complex design and have a similar shape to those of the Lamborghini Egoista.

Will white paint and black wheels ever go out of fashion? We don’t think so.
